3. Department Introduction:

The Department of Dermatology is a specialty unit integrating clinical service, disease control, research, and teaching for the prevention and treatment of skin and sexually transmitted diseases. With integrated medical prevention and leading-edge equipment, the department provides one-stop comprehensive services covering “disease diagnosis and treatment – skin health management – medical aesthetics and anti-aging.”

The department serves as a collaborative unit for the National Standardization System for Diagnosis and Treatment of Skin Appendage Disorders, a member of the Hair Disease Specialty Alliance of the Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Medical Center, a promotional unit for dermatological imaging under the National Telemedicine and Internet Medical Center, a member of the Dermatology Specialty Alliance of Southern Medical University, and a member of the Guangdong Dermatology and Venereology Medical-Prevention Integration Specialty Alliance. It is also the designated leprosy verification and treatment facility in Shenzhen, and the host unit of the Futian District Quality Control Center for Skin and Sexually Transmitted Diseases as well as the Futian District Quality Control Center for Medical Aesthetics.

The department currently has 11 healthcare professionals, including 2 chief physicians, 1 Ph.D., and 5 master’s degree holders, forming a well-structured and highly skilled team.

Specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of infectious and immune-mediated chronic skin diseases, health management of sensitive skin, and facial rejuvenation therapy. Has led research on molecular epidemiology of Mycobacterium leprae and mechanisms of adverse pregnancy outcomes associated with sexually transmitted diseases. Has published more than 10 papers in national core journals and co-authored monographs including Therapeutics in Dermatology and Modern Dermatology.

Has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of common surgical dermatology conditions, acne, rosacea, sensitive skin, steroid-dependent dermatitis, pigmented disorders, and sexually transmitted diseases. Specializes in various skin tumor excision and repair procedures, as well as facial rejuvenation treatments using light- and energy-based anti-aging techniques. Has published multiple papers in national core journals and led or participated in several provincial and municipal research projects.
